FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA

Overview

Area of Practice Overview

Perry Law Office in Rochester, Minnesota, is dedicated almost solely to fighting for personal injury and wrongful death victims.

We have been trained to think that accidents are “meant to be” when in fact these tragedies are usually avoidable. Accidents tend to happen when corporations value profit over human safety, when individuals act on their own impulses without thinking of the possible harm to others.

What makes a single person the equal of a huge insurance company, a billion dollar corporation, or a government entity? The right to have your claims redressed, the right to be HEARD, your right to a trial by a jury of your peers.

I have been practicing personal injury law since 1970 and am an experienced and successful trial lawyer with clients across southeast Minnesota , including the communities of Rochester, Winona, Owatonna, as well as Olmsted County and surrounding areas.

PERSONAL INJURY LAWYER

I have a soft, big-hearted approach with clients, and just the opposite in the courtroom. I am a tough, justice-minded personal injury lawyer who helps clients see why they should be angry not only about the injury but how the justice system is set up to minimize their disabilities and damages.

I handle all types of personal injury cases, big and small, including car and truck collisions, brain injuries, animal attacks, premises liability and product liability. I work on your behalf to assure proper justice and help you back on your road to recovery.

If you have questions or need more information on personal injuries, check out our personal injury information section.

AUTO ACCIDENT ATTORNEY

If you have been in a car accident or trucking accident, I can advise you on what you should and shouldn't do. You may not know at first if the injury is going to be serious or permanent, so it's important to document your treatment and recovery.

Contact an experienced auto accident attorney to explain your rights, protect them and make sure you get fairly and completely compensated for your medical treatment, lost wages, property damage and other expenses.

Insurance claims can be overwhelming, time-consuming and confusing. Injury victims may face lost wages, high medical bills, repair bills and other out of pocket expenses. It is important to have a qualified car accident attorney in your corner, making sure the proper investigation is completed, the insurance benefits are coordinated and that you, as the accident victim, are properly compensated. WRONGFUL DEATH LAW FIRM

It's impossible to put a price tag on a human life. You can't measure the loss of companionship or caring in dollar terms. A wrongful death lawsuit is about holding people accountable, maybe preventing a similar death in the future.

I handle all types of wrongful death cases, helping you prove the gross negligence that caused or contributed to the death of your loved one. More Information

CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY

In addition to personal injury cases, I also provide effective criminal defense to clients in Rochester and surrounding areas. I have defended all types of misdemeanor and felony charges, including DWI and people who have been accused of assault, manslaughter, murder or other violent crimes.

I am an experienced criminal defense attorney. I was on active duty in the United States Marine Corps as a Judge Advocate from 1970 through 1974. I spent most of my time stationed at Camp Pendleton , California as a Defense Counsel for Marines charged with crimes. This was a time during the Viet Nam war and gave me experience defending Marines accused of many different crimes. I defended persons charged with simple assault to murder.

If I'm convinced that your rights have been violated or that you are a victim of circumstances, you won't find a criminal defense lawyer who will fight harder to protect your rights and get the best possible outcome for your case. More Information

ESTATE PLANNING

I will draft simple wills, living trusts, Health Care Directives, and powers of attorney for my clients. A will makes sure those you want to receive your assets will do so in the event of your death. A living trust can also provide for the orderly transfer of your assets without probate and you can appoint the person to make decisions if you are incapacitated, and speeds the settling of your estate for your survivors.
